Paul Holbrook is the author of the new book, IN THEIR OWN WORDS: Rising from the Ashes of the Sonoma County Wildfires.
The book is a collection of stories sent to Paul from actual victims who were looking for a way to tell their own story. They gave permission to publish the stories in their own words: no editing words, sentence structure or emotion.
Many of them found it therapeutic to put their emotions on paper. Paul will be donating 20% of profits to animal shelters in the Santa Rosa Area who went above and beyond to care for pets who were rendered homeless or lost due to the wildfire.
